The Double X
he double‑X, the scalloped main brace, the delicate symmetrical tone‑bar X, and the carbon‑laminated upper face brace — a snapshot of the architecture that shapes the voice.
Design in Practice

Tools, Machines & Handwork
Precision where it helps. Hand skills where they matter.
My shop uses a mix of precision machines and refined hand skills. The CNC router and laser handle the work that benefits from accuracy and repeatability, while carving, voicing, shaping, and final fit‑and‑finish all happen by hand. I’ve also built many of my own jigs and fixtures over the years. This section highlights the tools — both digital and traditional — that support the work.
