Testimonials

A few words from the musicians who’ve spent time with my guitars.

I’ve gathered a few testimonials here to start, though there are many more scattered through years of emails, messages, and old files. I’m not always great at taking compliments — or at keeping them organized — but I’m grateful for every player who has taken the time to share their experience. As I work through the archives, I’ll continue adding more of the kind words people have sent about these guitars.

11 or 12 Later ...

… I know you don’t remember me, but I remember you when I bought this guitar right off the shelf at the Healdsburg festival in 2009 or 2010(?). Anyway, I play it religiously and it’s stored in a 48% humidifier  guitar cabinet.   In perfect condition I might add.  A friend of mine, an avid advanced guitarist from San Diego, recently played it and said it was the best guitar he ever played. (Agreed).   …   Hope things are going well for you because you  are gifted my friend.

The Steampunk

I have been playing the guitar a lot (the Steampunk.) I have to tell you I absolutely love it… You probably should have charged me more for it, I mean a lot more.

Keith Knight about his Model AS

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME

Been playing it around the clock…and have fallen behind everything…and it’s all your fault.

This is such a sweet guitar.  Damn that sound is incredible…the sustain lasts so long…just strumming it…and I go and make a sandwich and come back and the sound is still coming out of it.

I just don’t know what that say….Thanks just doesn’t seem good enough.

Hunter about his 6th Osthoff

… BTW, that OM is truly outrageous. I’m not sure how you were able to pull that much tone out of such a small box but what an insane guitar. The bloom and resonance on that one is otherworldly. If you chime that thing in an open tuning the decay is legitimately longer than 30 secs. I really, really love that guitar.
