The JS has recently gone through some minor tweeks to aling a bit more with John's approach to building. The JS is a big guitar with a great volume and a deep response, yet the JS is also able to capture a more subtle smooth sound. While this guitar is most impressive when played in hard and aggressive style it still delivers throughout the whole dynamic range. The JS is a great choice for a 12-string model because its big bass response balances nicely with the additional treble strings.

John has used the "Manzer-Style" wedge to make this bigger guitar a little more comfortable to play. It is a good way of making this big guitar feel smaller than it actually is.
