Have One Built Just For You
Commissioning an Osthoff Guitar is a fairly simple process. After choosing the model, select the woods and options you would like. John can make some recommendations to create a one-of-a-kind instrument that matches your playing-style and needs. Once the options and details have been selected, John will start building your guitar based on your position on the build list.
Terms
- An initial $1000 non-refundable retainer is required to get placed on the build list and "lock-in" at the current prices*.
- A payment equating to 50% of the final cost of the guitar is required before actual construction begins.
- Remaining balance due prior to delivery.
- All guitars are to be delivered within a Hardshell Case.
*Restructuring of the final price will be needed for changes made to the design that come later in the build process. The adjustments will be based on current pricing at the time of the change.
Returns
John is confident that you will be happy with your guitar. If for some reason there is a something that you do not like about your guitar, John will do his best to make it right. If you are still not satisfied, return the guitar within a 3-day 'trial' period. We will refund your payments minus the initial retainer, shipping charges, advertising costs, and any costs incurred to make the guitar resalable (i.e. removing the inlay of your ex's name in the fingerboard, repairs etc.) The payment will be sent to you soon after the guitar has been re-sold.
