Back & Side Woods

In general the woods on the back and the sides are usually made from the same wood and also influence the overall flavor or color of the tone. John only buys tonewood from reputable sources and keeps his a good supply of tonewood in stock. In general he likes to have wood in his shop for at least year before building with it but most often it works out to be longer than that especially for top wood.
